Zahid Oruj: A separate state program for the development of border villages is needed

Azerbaijan needs to develop a separate state program for the development of border villages, said Zahid Oruj, Chairman of the Parliamentary Human Rights Committee, at today's committee meeting, The Daily baku reports.

He noted that there are over 4,200 villages in Azerbaijan: "There is a large influx of people from villages to district centers, and from there to Baku. The depopulation of villages due to migration is leading to serious problems. Therefore, I believe it is necessary to immediately develop a separate state program for the development of remote border villages."
