Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister embarks on working visit to US

Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov departed for a working visit to New York on May 25, 2026, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a post on X.

As part of the visit, Bayramov is scheduled to address a UN Security Council meeting on May 26 on the topic "Protecting the purposes and principles of the UN Charter and strengthening the international system under the auspices of the UN." He is also expected to hold meetings with senior officials.
