Volume of BTC oil transported via Türkiye in Q1 announced

In the first quarter of this year, 47.354 million barrels of oil were transported through Türkiye via the Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan pipeline (BTC).
According to data from BOTAŞ, this represents a decrease of 4.889 million barrels, or 9.4 percent, compared to the first quarter of 2025.
In March alone, 16.412 million barrels of oil were transported via the BTC pipeline through Türkiye, which is 2.213 million barrels, or 11.9 percent, less than in March 2025.
It should be recalled that in 2025, a total of 206.434 million barrels of oil were transported through Türkiye via the BTC pipeline.
Currently, the BTC pipeline mainly carries oil produced from Azerbaijan’s Azeri–Chirag–Gunashli (ACG) block, as well as condensate from the Shah Deniz field. In addition, other volumes of crude oil and condensate, including those from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan, are also transported via BTC.
