The TRIPP project will bring a historic transformation to the region

According to The Daily Baku, citing AZERTAC, these remarks were made by US Vice President James David Vance during his visit to Armenia.

He noted that the project will open entirely new opportunities for trade, transit, and energy flows in this part of the world.

“This initiative will create unprecedented connections between Armenia and its neighboring countries. This is extremely important for sustainable peace, as it helps shape interconnected economies and energy sectors and means that the region can achieve lasting stability,” he said.

US Vice President James David Vance also announced the establishment of a TRIPP fund in Armenia.

According to him, the fund will attract significant private capital for the construction of railways and pipelines, creating conditions for enhancing regional prosperity and building interconnectedness that will also help ensure the durability of a peace agreement.

Vance stated that discussions with a number of partners in the region and around the world who are interested in the TRIPP project show that they view it as a highly attractive investment opportunity.

He added that sufficient time has already been spent to accelerate the process.

“The United States will play a very positive and constructive role in this effort. However, I do not think the issue is about financing. I believe there is already strong capital interest in this specific project,” the vice president added.
