US Treasury has authorized the supply of oil and gas exploration technology to Venezuela

The US Treasury Department has published a license temporarily exempting operations to Venezuela involving the supply of goods and technology for oil and gas production from US sanctions.

According to The Daily Baku, the document was published by the agency's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

This exemption applies to the supply of goods, technology, software, or services for the exploration, development, or production of oil and gas in Venezuela.

Furthermore, the Treasury Department has published a license exempting operations to support the operation of Venezuelan ports and airports.
