Uncertainty surrounding Larijani continues

A few hours after reports spread about the death of Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s National Security Council, a handwritten note—claimed to belong to Larijani—was published on his X (social media) account. In the note, Larijani expresses condolences over the deaths of Iranian sailors.

There is no indication of when the note was written.

The Iranian government has not commented on the information released today by the Israeli government regarding Larijani’s killing. However, this post on his account casts some doubt on that claim.
