UAE called on Tehran and Washington to resolve their differences directly

The UAE has expressed its desire to see direct negotiations between Iran and the United States.
According to The Daily Baku, citing The National, this was stated by Anwar Gargash, an adviser to the UAE president.
He noted that the Middle East has already experienced enough upheavals and called for issues to be resolved through diplomacy rather than force.
"I believe the region has already gone through a number of turning points and acute confrontations. I don't think we need another one. What we would like to see is direct Iranian-American negotiations that will lead to mutual understanding," he said.
According to him, unresolved disputes have repeatedly destabilized the region.
"It is crucial that many key issues that have shaken bilateral relations and impacted the situation in the region, primarily the nuclear issue, be addressed directly," he added.
