Two people detained in London for attempting to set fire to a synagogue.

UK law enforcement authorities have arrested two individuals suspected of attempting to set fire to a synagogue located in the Finchley area of north London.
According to The Daily Baku, citing CNN, a 46-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman were detained in Watford on suspicion of deliberate arson endangering life.
Police said the incident occurred in the morning: two individuals dressed in dark clothing and wearing masks entered the premises of the place of worship, threw a brick at the building, and placed bottles—believed to contain flammable liquid—near the windows. One of the bottles broke, but no fire broke out.
No injuries or damage were reported. Authorities are treating the incident as a hate crime motivated by antisemitism and have increased security measures in the area. Representatives of the synagogue stated that despite the lack of physical damage, the attack caused serious emotional distress.
