Two earthquakes measuring 4.7 and 3.3 magnitude hit Shamakhi – UPDATED

A second earthquake has been recorded in Shamakhi.

According to The Daily Baku, the Earthquake Research Bureau of the Republican Seismological Service Center released information on the matter.

It was reported that another earthquake with a magnitude of 3.3 occurred at 16:05 local time.

The depth of the earthquake was 10 kilometers.

An earthquake measuring 4.7 in magnitude was recorded in the Shamakhi district at 15:52 local time.

According to The Daily Baku, the Earthquake Research Bureau of the Republican Seismological Service Center issued a statement.

According to the information, the earthquake originated at a depth of 13 kilometers.

The tremor was felt at intensity level 5 at the epicenter and around 3–4 in nearby districts.
