Turkish Business and Investment Forum to be held in Nakhchivan

The Turkish Business and Investment Forum and B2B meetings will be organized in Nakhchivan in the first half of this year.
"The Daily Baku" reports with reference to the Azerbaijan Confederation of Entrepreneurs (ASK), which was stated by ASK Secretary General Ziya Hajili at a meeting of the Working Group of the Union of Turkish Chambers of Commerce and Industry (TCCI)
According to him, this forum will become a practical model of regional economic integration: "Especially considering the 10-year tax breaks and incentive instruments that our state has provided to Nakhchivan since 2026, Nakhchivan has become the most attractive region for investment, and we invite businessmen from Turkic countries to work in Nakhchivan."
He also noted the importance of a special seminar dedicated to the development of the Karabakh and East Zangezur regions within the framework of the TCCI organization's activities for 2026. He expressed confidence that this event will contribute to ensuring the direct contribution of Turkish business to the economic reintegration of the liberated Azerbaijani territories.
Opening the meeting, Murat Karimsakov noted that Kazakhstan will chair the Union of Turkish Chambers of Commerce and Industry in 2026 and attached special importance to the preparation of a practical cooperation agenda. The meeting discussed the approval of the 2026 Action Plan aimed at developing multilateral cooperation between the business communities of the Turkic states and implementing joint economic initiatives.
The event was chaired by Murat Karimsakov, Chairman of the Board of the Kazakh Chamber of Commerce, and attended by Bagdat Amreyev, President of the Turkish Investment Fund, Nurali Abishov, Chairman of the Turkestan Regional Maslihat and Chairman of the Regional Council, Merey Mukajan, Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, Adem Kula, Secretary General of the Permanent Secretariat of the Union of Turkish Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Lazzat Ramazanova, Chairwoman of the Turkic States Women Entrepreneurs Council, and heads of the chambers of commerce and industry of the participating countries.
After the meeting, a vote was held, and as a result, the Action Plan of the Union of Turkish Chambers of Commerce and Industry for 2026 was unanimously approved. The document envisages the implementation of a number of initiatives aimed at expanding business cooperation, developing cooperation in the industrial, agricultural and service sectors, and creating favorable conditions for promoting joint investment projects.
Special attention was paid to the institutional strengthening of the Union of Turkish Chambers of Commerce and Industry and increasing the effectiveness of the Organization of Turkic States as the main platform for interaction between business communities. The participants noted the importance of developing continuous coordination mechanisms that facilitate the rapid adoption of decisions and their effective implementation.
