Trump: US is sending more forces to Iran than to Venezuela

The United States has deployed even more significant forces to Iran than to Venezuela and is hoping for a deal with Tehran, but is also prepared for a different scenario, said US President Donald Trump, APA reports.

"We have a large flotilla, an armada—call it what you will—that is now heading to Iran. It's even larger than the one we had in Venezuela," he told reporters while signing some new executive orders at the White House.

We're sending even more ships to Iran now, and hopefully we'll reach a deal. If we reach a deal, that will be good. If we don't reach a deal, we'll see what happens," the American leader added.
