Traffic police warn of increased road congestion after holidays

The Main Department of State Traffic Police of Azerbaijan urged drivers to strictly соблюдать правила безопасности, advising them to travel during daylight hours where possible and to avoid driving while fatigued.

Authorities also recommended that motorists check the technical condition of their vehicles before setting out, take into account weather and road conditions, and maintain a safe distance from other vehicles.

Drivers were further advised to exercise extra caution when manoeuvring, take regular breaks during long journeys, and avoid distractions such as mobile phones while driving.

The road police called on all road users to act responsibly and adhere to traffic regulations to ensure safety.
