This year, a meeting of the transport ministers of Azerbaijan, Iran, and Georgia will be held in Baku

During a visit to Baku, Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Farzaneh Sadegh emphasized the importance of activating the Iran-Azerbaijan-Georgia trilateral corridor.
Farzaneh Sadegh, the Iranian Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, met with Azerbaijani Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev in Baku.
During the meeting, the current level of transport cooperation between the two countries was reviewed. The parties discussed existing obstacles, particularly issues related to driver mobility within the two countries, and emphasized the need to expedite the resolution of these issues and make appropriate implementation decisions.
In this regard, the necessary instructions were given to monitor and resolve the issues raised. Both sides agreed to hold a joint ministerial meeting of the three countries in Baku this year to strengthen the implementation of this transit route and complete the necessary coordination to activate the Iran-Azerbaijan-Georgia corridor.
According to the agreements reached, the joint Transport Committee of the two countries is scheduled to meet no later than one month later and make the necessary decisions to remove existing obstacles and develop transport cooperation.
It should be noted that on February 23, the 17th meeting of the State Commission on Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Economic, Trade, and Humanitarian Spheres was held in Baku, resulting in the signing of a memorandum of understanding.
