The United States may resume military operations against Iran if a deal is not reached.

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Washington could return to military action against Iran if negotiations with Tehran fail.

According to The Daily Baku, the White House leader made this statement while answering journalists’ questions aboard the presidential aircraft on his way to Washington.

“I may not be able to prolong this. The blockade remains in force, and unfortunately, we will have to continue bombing,” he said in response to a question about the prospects of extending the ceasefire if Washington and Tehran fail to reach an agreement before the current ceasefire expires on Wednesday.
