The damaged embankment on the Kura River in Aghjabadi District has been restored

The breach was recorded in the area where the Kura River merges with the Gargar River, near the village of Najafgulubeyli. The overflow affected the Gargar River basin.

As a result of the measures taken, reinforcement works on the embankment have been completed, and the flow of water into surrounding areas has been fully prevented.

It should be noted that the incident was caused by a significant rise in the Kura River’s water level following several days of continuous rainfall.
