The National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission in Türkiye has put to a vote and adopted a report titled “Terror-free Türkiye”.
The Daily Baku reports, citing NTV, that the commission held its final discussion on the issue under the leadership of the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, Numan Kurtulmuş.
The report highlights key priorities including the unitary state structure, territorial integrity, the status of Turkish as the official language, and the preservation of the principle of a secular republic.
It also proposes the adoption of a new Constitution, amendments to the internal rules of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, as well as changes to the laws on political parties and elections.
In addition, the report calls for eliminating annual losses to Türkiye estimated at 100–340 billion dollars and addressing regional development disparities.
Turkish–Kurdish brotherhood is described as a historical community of destiny, with the solution framed through the concept of “the law of brotherhood”.
It is further proposed that, after the state officially confirms that the PKK has disbanded and laid down its arms, a separate draft law be prepared concerning the organization’s members.
