Sybiha says tensions in Ukraine–US relations have eased.

Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that the most difficult period in diplomatic relations between Kyiv and Washington is now behind them.
According to The Daily Baku, citing Interfax-Ukraine, he made the remarks at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
“The most difficult period in our relations, or in our bilateral diplomatic track, is behind us. We managed to regulate this direction properly, very pragmatically, and with respect for each other’s positions, and Ukraine indeed has advantages. This is a reality,” Sybiha said.
He also reiterated that Ukraine welcomes the United States’ efforts to advance a just and comprehensive peace.
“My personal assessment is that without the United States, without the support of Donald Trump, achieving a just and comprehensive peace is impossible. It is impossible. Therefore, we need the participation of the United States, and we welcome their peace efforts,” Sybiha added.
