Shusha may be twinned with one of Indonesia’s cities

This idea was voiced during a meeting between Aydın Kərimov, the Special Representative of the President in the Shusha District, and Berlian Helmi, Ambassador of Indonesia to Azerbaijan.

Informing the ambassador about the restoration and reconstruction work carried out in Shusha, infrastructure renewal, and population resettlement, A. Karimov noted that the projects for the restoration and redevelopment of the country’s cultural capital are based on Shusha’s unique architectural traditions and national values.

In turn, B. Helmi подчеркнул, что в будущем установление побратимских отношений между одним из городов Индонезии и Шушой может внести значительный вклад в развитие двусторонних отношений.

The meeting also addressed bilateral relations between the two countries and peoples, as well as efforts to strengthen friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation.
