The Saudi-led coalition has announced the launch of a limited military operation in the Hadramaut region in Yemen following the capture of the port of al-Mukalla by the Southern Transitional Council (STC), The Daily Baku reports, citing Saudi Arabian SPA news agency.

"We call for the evacuation of civilians in the al-Mukalla port area to ensure their safety during the limited military operation," the statement said.
