Russia strikes four regions of Ukraine, 7 killed and 46 injured

The Russian Armed Forces have launched attacks on Ukraine’s Poltava, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, leaving a total of 7 people dead and 46 others injured.
The information was provided by the heads of the regional military administrations.
According to the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Dyakivnych, Russian forces carried out missile and drone strikes on the region overnight into May 5. As a result of the attack, 4 people were killed and 31 others were injured.
The strikes also damaged an industrial facility and railway infrastructure.
Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported that in the Chernihiv region, two people were injured following strikes on the private sector of one of the settlements.
Meanwhile, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hancha, said that two people were injured as a result of attacks on the region.
According to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, Russian forces carried out more than 800 strikes on 49 settlements in the region over the past 24 hours. As a result, 3 people were killed and 11 others were injured. Two missile strikes on Zaporizhzhia were also recorded.
