Projectile hits territory of Bushehr nuclear power plant

Iran has informed the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) about a projectile that landed on the territory of the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant.

This was stated in a post published by the IAEA on the social media platform X.

According to the information, the Iranian side notified the agency that a projectile struck the area of the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant on Tuesday. However, no details were provided regarding any damage to the facility or casualties among personnel.

The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, who is also among the candidates for the post of UN Secretary General, once again called on all parties to exercise maximum restraint to prevent a nuclear accident amid the ongoing conflict.
