"President's Cup 2026": The next winners will be announced in Mingachevir

The next competitions will take place today in the "President's Cup 2026" international rowing and canoeing regatta dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

The next prize winners will be announced on the fourth day of the competition at the "Kur" Olympic Training and Sports Center in Mingachevir.

The competition started for the first time on April 27 at the Sarsang Reservoir.

The other day, Alimurad Hajizadeh, one of the Azerbaijani representatives, won a silver medal in the 200-meter single kayak race among athletes born in 2008-2009.

It should be noted that more than 100 athletes from Azerbaijan, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Sweden, Tajikistan, Turkey, Ukraine and Uzbekistan are participating in the tournament, which is jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Water Sports Federation. The regatta will end on May 1.
