A person accused of spying for Israel has been executed in Iran.

According to The Daily Baku, the report was released by the Mizan news agency, which is affiliated with the country’s judiciary.

It was stated that the executed individual was named Kourosh Keyvani.

The court found him guilty of transferring photographs and information about sensitive locations in Iran to Israel’s intelligence service, Mossad.

It should be recalled that amid the long-standing confrontation between Tehran and Tel Aviv, Iranian authorities have repeatedly issued death sentences against individuals accused of having ties to Mossad and assisting Israeli intelligence operations inside the country.
