Pashinyan: Normalization of relations with Ankara and Baku will balance Yerevan's foreign policy

Armenia seeks to normalize relations with Türkiye and Azerbaijan, and achieving this goal will complete the country's foreign policy balancing process, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in social media posts.
"I am convinced that we will achieve the goal of normalizing relations with Azerbaijan and Türkiye, and this means that a balanced foreign policy will be brought to completion, creating new opportunities for Armenia," he said.
According to him, the lack of relations with Türkiye itself indicates an asymmetry in foreign policy relations. To restore this balance, Armenia needs to maintain relations not only with Türkiye and Azerbaijan but also with all countries.
"This is not a matter of preference; we need to maintain relations with Türkiye, Azerbaijan, and all states in general," Pashinyan emphasized.
