Parliamentary elections in Armenia will cost $12 million

The upcoming parliamentary elections in Armenia will cost approximately $12 million.
According to The Daily Baku, citing Armenian media, the Central Election Commission (CEC) has published the corresponding cost estimate.
Specifically, the total cost will be 4.45 billion drams (approximately $12 million), of which 1.8 billion will cover the salaries of members of precinct election commissions.
The CEC also approved standard forms of documents required for registering the electoral lists of parties and blocs participating in the elections.
This decision is consistent with the constitutional law "Electoral Code," which stipulates that in the event of regular elections to the National Assembly, a party/bloc must approve the first 30 candidates on the electoral list by a decision adopted following its congress.
As a reminder, parliamentary elections in Armenia are scheduled for June 7, 2026.
