Official warning regarding illegal use of the center's name

Recently, cases of illegal use of the name of the Republican Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology have been recorded.
"The Daily Baku" reports that the Ministry of Health has issued a warning about this.
Some individuals acting on behalf of the center are approaching facilities operating in various districts of Baku, as well as in other regions of the republic, making unfounded claims that the sanitary and epidemiological situation is allegedly unsatisfactory, stating that disinfection, disinsection, deratization and other services are necessary, and warning that administrative liability measures will be taken otherwise.
The ministry's warning stated that, according to the current legislation, inspections within the framework of state sanitary and epidemiological supervision are carried out only in the manner prescribed by law. In this case, officials must necessarily present their service cards, as well as a copy of the decision to conduct an inspection in relation to business entities and an extract on the registration of the inspection in the unified information register of inspections carried out in the field of entrepreneurship.
Official inspections are carried out only by authorized employees of the Republican Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology and if there are appropriate legal grounds. It is illegal to offer any commercial services using the name of the Center or to demand payment through intimidation.
Citizens and business entities are asked to immediately report such cases to the relevant hotline 9103 of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the number (012) 421-13-93 of the Republican Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology, or the 102 service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The Ministry of Health once again called on citizens to be careful, be sensitive to such cases, and trust only the information provided by official state agencies.
