The new Secretary-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Khaled El-Enani, has been invited to international events to be held in Baku next year.

According to The Daily Baku, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov made the announcement during a telephone conversation with the Secretary-General of the organization.

The Minister provided information about the 13th Session of the UN World Urban Forum (WUF13), the Baku Process, and the World Forum for Intercultural Dialogue to be held in Baku in 2026, and invited the Secretary-General to participate in these events.
