Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has instructed the Israel Defense Forces to carry out strikes on facilities located in Beirut’s Dahieh district.

According to a post published by Netanyahu on his X account, the decision was made in response to what he described as repeated and ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon by Hezbollah, as well as attacks against Israeli cities and civilians.

“I instructed the Israel Defense Forces and Defense Minister Israel Katz to strike terrorist targets in Beirut’s Dahieh district,” Netanyahu said.
