Mortgage loan portfolio of Azerbaijani banks approaches 5 billion manats

At the end of 2025, the value of the mortgage loan portfolio of Azerbaijani banks amounted to 4.6 billion manats.

This is stated in the annual Financial Stability Report of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

According to the document, this is 8.4% or 356 million manats higher compared to the end of 2024.

Of the increase, 251 million manats came from the state mortgage program, while 105 million manats were generated through banks’ internal mortgage programs. Currently, mortgage loans issued through state funding account for 55.9% (2.57 billion manats) of the total portfolio, while mortgages financed by banks’ own funds make up 44.1% (2.03 billion manats).
