More than €600 million will be allocated for urgent recovery projects in Ukraine

The European Commission and the European Investment Bank Group have announced a new financing package of over €600 million aimed at supporting urgent recovery projects in Ukraine.
According to The Daily Baku, the information was published on the European Union’s official website.
The package предусматривает расширение гарантий ЕС для Европейского инвестиционного банка, что позволит привлечь более €450 million for future recovery efforts in the country. An additional approximately €150 million will be provided by the EU in the form of grants and technical assistance.
The funding will be directed to sectors essential for the economy and daily life, including the development of road and rail infrastructure, modernization of electricity networks, and improving the energy efficiency of residential and public buildings. The support will also cover urban mobility and educational institutions.
