More than 139,000 people received services at taxpayer service centers in Azerbaijan in the first quarter

In the first quarter of this year, 139,465 individuals were received at taxpayer service centers in Azerbaijan, and 228,718 services were provided to them.

This was reported by the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.

According to the information, 54.7% of total electronic services accounted for 9 types of services (excluding oral services and the issuance of ready documents):

• Submission of declarations (reports) and certificates on the calculation of current tax payments to tax authorities
• Suspension of taxpayer activity
• Issuance of receipts for payment of fixed amounts under the simplified tax system, as well as compulsory state social insurance and mandatory health insurance contributions
• Issuance of “ASAN Signature” certificates
• Issuance of certificates to taxpayers
• Changes to taxpayers’ registration data
• Registration and re-registration of individuals
• Registration (and deregistration) of taxpayers’ business entities (objects)
• Deregistration of individuals

During the reporting period, 8,200 written appeals received from taxpayers were answered, and 8.2 million informational notifications (letters) of various types were sent.

During the period, 103 meetings were held with the participation of 1,602 taxpayers, targeted services were provided to 1,604 taxpayers, and 355,600 SMS messages were sent to taxpayers’ mobile numbers for informational purposes.
