Mirzoyan: We have achieved tangible success in resolving the conflict with Baku and Ankara

The normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani and Armenian-Turkish relations are two parallel processes in which Yerevan has achieved significant success, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated this at a session of the National Assembly on January 21, answering questions from members of parliament, The Daily Baku reports.
"Within the framework of the political agenda, we are implementing two settlement processes. In both, we have achieved tangible success and clearly articulated ideas, as well as expectations regarding further steps and final results. We declare that, as a political agenda, they are not dependent on each other," Mirzoyan said.
According to the Armenian Foreign Minister, the close ties between Ankara and Baku are no secret.
"In a sense, we must acknowledge this connection... I think that if we have reached an agreement with Azerbaijan today, taken another step forward in strengthening or institutionalizing peace, then we can continue these steps without waiting for developments in terms of normalizing relations with Turkey," Mirzoyan said.
