Minister: Full implementation of TRIPP obligations is essential for signing a peace treaty with Armenia

“A conflict that lasted for many years has been brought to an end as a result of the policy pursued, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov said at a press conference dedicated to the outcomes of the year, The Daily Baku reports.
According to him, new realities have emerged in the South Caucasus: “We are seeing the first elements of this in 2025. This work will continue in 2026.”
The minister stated that, for a peace treaty to be signed between Azerbaijan and Armenia, it is essential that Armenia amends its constitution and fully implements its obligations under the TRIPP project: “Recently, representatives of civil society from both countries have made reciprocal visits. At the same time, a meeting of the border delimitation commission was also held in Gabala.”
Jeyhun Bayramov also noted that grain and oil products are being delivered to Armenia via Azerbaijan.
