Iran has rejected a US demand to stop uranium enrichment during talks with Washington.

Tehran also refused to fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz and to end its support for allied forces in the region.

Reports indicate that these issues remain among the key points of disagreement between the two sides, contributing to the lack of progress in negotiations
