Kremlin: US has not yet responded to Russia's proposal on frozen assets

The Kremlin has not yet heard a public reaction from the United States to Russia's proposal to transfer $1 billion from frozen assets to the "Peace Council".
The Daily Baku reports that this was stated by the press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov.
According to him, however, Russian President Vladimir Putin drew attention to the fact that US President Donald Trump called Moscow's proposal an "interesting idea".
The Kremlin spokesman stressed that Russia's well-known proposal opens up new horizons for cooperation.
It should be noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin announced his readiness to allocate $1 billion from Russia's frozen funds in US banks to the "Peace Council" established at the initiative of Trump.
