Israeli political analyst: President Ilham Aliyev spending his birthday in the liberated territories is a political message

The birthday of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev was once again remembered not only as a personal event, but also as a symbolic event with a deep political and statehood content, Israeli political scientist Yuri Bocharov told The Daily Baku.

He noted that instead of celebrating his traditional birthday with his family, President Ilham Aliyev spent this day in the liberated territories - in Khankendi and Agdam.

"He met with residents returning to their native lands, participated in the opening of new facilities and laid the foundation for future infrastructure projects. This choice in itself is a clear and decisive message addressed to both Azerbaijani society and the international community."

The political scientist emphasized that Ilham Aliyev's successes in the international arena, his role in strengthening Azerbaijan's sovereignty and changing the geopolitical balance in the region are already widely known and are an integral part of modern history: "However, it is precisely the celebration of his birthday in such a format that more clearly demonstrates his management philosophy.

Ilham Aliyev is a leader who continues to act as head of state even on a day that is important for him from a personal and family point of view. This clearly shows that for him, service to the Motherland is not a formality, but a daily and continuous responsibility, "the political scientist added.

Y. Bocharov said that the victory in the 44-day Patriotic War ended with the restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and an end to many years of injustice.

"But this mission does not end there. Today, President Ilham Aliyev is fulfilling a more complex and long-term task - the mission of a founding leader. Liberating the lands was a vital necessity, but reviving them, restoring the economy, building infrastructure and returning human life are even more important stages. The fact that he spent his birthday in Khankendi and Agdam clearly demonstrates that this process is an absolute priority for the head of state.

This approach is also a clear message for Azerbaijani society. President Ilham Aliyev shows all citizens - workers, engineers, specialists, entrepreneurs and everyone working in the administration system - that service to the Motherland is the main essence of every duty. State interests, national responsibility and commitment to future generations should be prioritized over personal factors.
