Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian expresses gratitude to Azerbaijan

The President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, has expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan.
Pezeshkian made the remarks while addressing the public during a march marking the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
He stated that Iran is building sincere and brotherly relations with neighboring countries:
“This is the directive of the Leader of the Revolution. These countries are Muslim states, friendly and brotherly nations. We must strengthen our relations with them. When the enemy sought to plot against us or commit aggression, those neighboring countries called us one after another, expressing their concerns, care, and positions.”
Pezeshkian expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan and the President of Azerbaijan, as well as to the President of Türkiye and the foreign minister.
“Qatar, the UAE, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt — all of these countries were concerned about Iran. They sought to ensure that we resolve difficulties through diplomacy. I thank them,” the Iranian President said.
