Iranian Foreign Minister: We have not made any request for talks with the US

Iran has not made any proposal or request for talks with the US, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi told reporters, The Daily Baku reports.

"We have not had any request for talks with the US. However, third parties are trying to mediate and we are in contact with them," Araqchi said.

It should be noted that US President Donald Trump had previously stated that Iran wanted to hold talks.
