Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that the Strait of Hormuz has been opened.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that the Strait of Hormuz will remain open during the ceasefire period between Israel and Lebanon.

The Daily Baku reports that Araghchi made the statement on his page on the social platform X.

“All commercial vessels are now fully permitted to pass through the Strait of Hormuz along the agreed route announced by Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization for the remaining duration of the ceasefire,” he said.

It should be noted that U.S. President Donald Trump thanked Iran for opening the Strait of Hormuz on the social network Truth Social.
