Hakan Fidan: Turkey supports negotiations to resolve the problem with Iran

If the US intervenes militarily in Iran, Turkey will try to negotiate with the parties.

"The Daily Baku" reports that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said this at a press conference with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi in Istanbul.

According to him, Turkey is in favor of negotiations to resolve the problem with Iran:

"We are in favor of reaching a common decision. Because war means economic collapse and poverty. War is never a solution. I believe that we will move in a positive direction on this issue."
