Georgia–Azerbaijan relations are quite intensive, FM Botchorishvili says

Relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan are quite intensive. Our relations cover cooperation in various fields, said Georgia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili while commenting on the state visit of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to Tbilisi.
She noted that meetings between high-ranking state officials are of great importance.
“The visit of the head of state of our strategic partner, neighbor, and friendly country to Georgia is very important for us. The President of Azerbaijan will have meetings with the Prime Minister and the head of state of Georgia. Especially against the backdrop of ongoing processes in the region, it is important to strengthen political and economic relations between neighboring and friendly countries. Within the framework of the visit of the President of Azerbaijan to Georgia, we will discuss all important issues,” Botchorishvili added.
