Gas production in Azerbaijan increased by more than 2%

Gas production in Azerbaijan increased by more than 2%

Last year, 51.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced in Azerbaijan, which is 2.4% more in the annual comparison,The Daily baku reports, citing operational information from the Ministry of Energy.

“Of the production, 14.1 billion cubic meters belong to ‘Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli,’ 27.9 billion cubic meters to ‘Shah Deniz,’ 1.6 billion cubic meters to the ‘Absheron’ field, and 7.9 billion cubic meters to SOCAR,” the information notes.

According to the Ministry’s data, 50.3 billion cubic meters of gas were produced in the country in 2024.
