Fuad Oktay: The normalization process with Armenia will contribute to strengthening stability in the region

The process of normalizing relations with Armenia will contribute to strengthening peace and stability in the region,  said Fuad Oktay, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, during his speech at the tenth trilateral meeting of the Foreign Relations Committees of the Azerbaijani, Turkish and Georgian parliaments held in the Milli Majlis, The Daily Baku reports.

He noted that the Turkish parliament is a supporter of lasting peace in the region:

"We consider the steps of Azerbaijan and Armenia important for building trust. The agreed TRIPP project is important for the entire region. I believe that Georgia will also benefit from it."
