European Union to consider declaring IRGC a terrorist organization

The Foreign Ministers (MFA) of the European Union (EU) countries will discuss the issue of including the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in the list of terrorist organizations on January 29.

According to "The Daily Baku", this was announced by the Italian Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani on his account on the "X" social network.

"A proposal to include the IRGC in the list of terrorist organizations will be put forward at the meeting of the EU foreign ministers on January 29 in Brussels. Individual sanctions are also expected to be imposed against those responsible for the killing of civilians during the protests in Iran," he noted.
