Projects that were once considered a dream for the region have been successfully implemented together with Azerbaijan, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said in a message addressed to participants of Baku Energy Week.

According to TRT Haber, Erdogan noted that recent developments in the region once again demonstrate how correct and forward-looking the energy cooperation steps taken with Azerbaijan have been.

“Megaprojects that were once regarded as a dream for the region have been successfully realized together with Azerbaijan, and our cooperation in this area continues. The Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum and TANAP pipeline projects deserve special mention. At the same time, cooperation has deepened further within the framework of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz projects,” he said.
