Former member of the Azerbaijani national team Elena Parkhomenko has been appointed to another international competition by the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV).

"The Daily Baku" reports that she will participate in the play-off match of the CEV Cup among women's volleyball players.

Parkhomenko, who currently works as the manager of the Azerbaijani men's national team, will evaluate the work of the referees as a supervisor in the match between "Galatasaray" (Turkey) and "Allianz MTV" (Germany) to be held in Istanbul on January 27.

The main referees of the match will be Portuguese Nuno Maya and Cypriot Andreas Daniil.

It should be noted that Elena Parkhomenko previously officiated in the match between "THY Istanbul" and "Avarca Menorca" (Spain) in the 1/16 finals of the CEV Cup.
