Electronic public procurement in Azerbaijan rises in early 2026

The number and value of electronic public procurement procedures in Azerbaijan increased in the first two months of 2026, according to official data.
Figures from the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control show that 783 e-procurement procedures were conducted in January–February, with a total value of 407.1 million manats.
This represents an increase of 11.1% in number and 13.9% in value compared with the same period last year.
The agency said that the average number of participants in completed tenders over the two-month period stood at 3.9.
It noted that this reflects healthy competition, increased activity among small and medium-sized enterprises, and ongoing economic diversification.
Officials added that the digitalisation of public procurement enhances economic efficiency, facilitates access for smaller businesses to state contracts, and promotes greater market equality by improving access to information.
