Cooperation in the field of migration was discussed between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan

The first bilateral consultations were held online to discuss cooperation in the field of migration between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan.

The State Migration Service (SMS) reported on this.

It was noted that the consultations took place as a result of the implementation of the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic on Cooperation in the Field of Migration".

The Azerbaijani delegation was led by the Head of the Main Department of Migration Policy and Legal Support of the SMS, and the Kyrgyz delegation was led by the Head of the Department of Foreign Migration of the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration.

The meeting emphasized the growing development of relations in the field of migration between the two countries. In this regard, it was expressed that the consultations held will contribute to the further deepening of cooperation.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged information on legislation in the field of migration and existing experience in regulating migration processes, and also discussed new areas of cooperation between the two countries in this area.
