Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Palestine in the field of emergency response discussed

Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kamaladdin Heydarov, met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Palestine to Azerbaijan, Ahmed Metani, the Ministry told The Daily Baku.
It was noted that warmly welcoming the guest, Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov recalled that relations between Azerbaijan and Palestine, based on mutual respect and friendship, are developing steadily.
Providing the ambassador with detailed information on the work carried out in Azerbaijan to prevent emergency situations and eliminate their consequences, as well as on the structure and activities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Kamaladdin Heydarov emphasized that his meeting with Akram Tawabta, Director General of Civil Defense of the State of Palestine, held last year in Baku within the framework of the 58th session of the Executive Council and the 3rd extraordinary session of the General Assembly of the International Civil Defence Organization, was productive in terms of expanding cooperation between the relevant institutions.
Expressing his gratitude for the cordial meeting, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the State of Palestine to our country, Ahmed Metani, spoke about the prospects for developing cooperation between the relevant bodies of the two countries in the field of emergency response and stated that he would spare no effort in this direction.
During the meeting, a broad exchange of views was held on issues of mutual interest.
