Construction of the Horadiz–Aghband railway line 70 percent complete

The design of the Horadiz–Aghband railway line, which forms part of the route leading to the Zangezur corridor, has been completed by 85 percent, while construction works have reached 70 percent.

This was reported by Azerbaijan Railways CJSC.

“The railway will not only contribute to the economic revival of the liberated territories, but will also connect the main part of Azerbaijan with Nakhchivan and become a component of a new transport corridor extending to Türkiye,” the statement emphasized.
